Fulton Hogan

Fulton Hogan builds and maintains roads, water, transport and other infrastructure across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands, and supplies its own asphalt, concrete, aggregates and binders.

Fulton Hogan is a civil construction and construction materials company operating across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Founded in 1933, it employs approximately 9,000 people and is one of Australasia's largest civil construction firms. The business is family-owned and has grown from a small contracting partnership into a major regional operator over more than 90 years of trading.

Its work covers road and pavement construction, water, transport, airports, ports, rail, energy and communications infrastructure. Alongside project delivery, the company runs a vertically integrated materials operation, supplying asphalt, concrete, aggregates and binders from its own network of quarries and manufacturing plants. That combination of construction and materials production means in-house demand for heavy vehicle operators, quarry and plant staff, and transport and logistics crews alongside its civil trades and engineering roles.

Operations are spread across the three regions it serves, with projects ranging from local road maintenance to major national infrastructure. The company states its purpose as creating, connecting and caring for communities, and describes a commitment to building resilient infrastructure. It sets out four company values: Respect, Energy & Effort, Attitude, and Leadership.
