About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced HR driver to operate a 12 pallet refrigerated rigid on daily delivery runs. The role is hands-on and includes loading and unloading at customer sites. Early starts mean early finishes, with afternoons free.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a 12 pallet refrigerated rigid on scheduled delivery runs
Load and unload product at the depot and customer sites, including use of pallet jacks
Monitor and maintain correct temperatures throughout deliveries in line with cold chain requirements
Complete pre-start vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
Use the delivery app to record proof of delivery, photos and any issues
Provide professional, friendly service to customers on site
Follow all Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and WHS requirements
Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable
Requirements
Current HR licence (clean driving record preferred)
Previous experience in refrigerated or food delivery is highly regarded
Physically fit and able to perform repetitive manual handling
Reliable, punctual and able to commit to Monday to Saturday shifts
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
Basic smartphone skills for delivery apps
Ability to work independently and manage time on the road
Right to work in Australia
