HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER – ECHUCA, VIC
Northern Hire Group is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join their busy team in Echuca.
What you’ll be doing:
• Delivering & picking up large plant and equipment including excavators, EWPs, compaction rollers, telehandlers and more
• Transporting portable site buildings – full job training provided
• Local deliveries, generally within 200km of Echuca, with occasional Melbourne metro trips
• Loading and unloading plant & equipment, including starting motorised equipment
• Connecting and disconnecting trailers to tow vehicles
• Sending delivery and pickup information to the office via WhatsApp
• Preparing equipment for its next hire – washing, checking maintenance, documentation and accessories
• Demonstrating equipment operation and providing product information to customers
• Working as part of a positive team and contributing to continuous improvement
Required:
• HR or MC Heavy Vehicle Licence
• Experience with Euro trucks, tilt tray, flat tray, low loader & small crane
• Experience handling and transporting heavy plant and equipment
Highly regarded:
• Oversize & pilot vehicle experience
• Working at Heights competency
• Heavy machinery experience
