Viva Energy supplies approximately one quarter of Australia's fuel requirements, making, importing, blending and delivering fuel and petroleum products across the country. Retail operations centre on the Shell-branded service station network, which offers fuels to motorists and businesses nationwide. Beyond transport fuels, Viva Energy supplies specialised petroleum products used across manufacturing and other industries, and is developing gas terminal infrastructure at its Geelong site as part of the Geelong Refinery Energy Hub.

The company is also investing in future energy sources, including renewable diesel and hydrogen refuelling. Viva Energy states that it places its highest priority on safety, alongside commitments to environmental stewardship and engagement with the communities in which it operates.
