Land Transport

Land Transport is a family-owned Australian general freight company founded in 1984 by Barry and Raewyn Land. It provides local and interstate pickup and delivery of general freight to towns across Australia through a network of depots and agents, alongside specialised cartage and warehousing and distribution services. The company employs more than 250 staff and operates a fleet of over 350 units.

Its specialised work includes machinery and truck cartage using prime movers, body trucks, tilt trays and trailers such as drop-deck trailers with hydraulic ramps, open trailers, tautliners and chiller tautliners, as well as the transport of dangerous goods. Warehousing services cover stock control, pick and pack, wrapping, container unpacking and re-palletising.

Operations span heavy vehicle transport and fleet management, dangerous goods handling, warehousing and distribution, load restraint and safety compliance, and vehicle maintenance and accreditation. Land Transport maintains a rigorous maintenance schedule for vehicles and equipment under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme, and states priorities of safe load restraint, professional service and continuous improvement.
